Deep frying oil?

What kind of oil does Long John Silver's use to deep fry? I developed an allergy to Canola oil some years ago and must check ahead of time. The Long john Silvers near me will reopen soon after remodeling. Thank you, Debby Fowler

False advertising

I already wrote on the different page , but here I go again. Hopefully I will be shorter here. I had to think long and hard whether to write or not. I went to your store in Garden City Kansas. To get a 10 piece for a family. Of course a free cake. There was Not a 10 piecemeal advertised. I am disabled and paying even a few more bucks hits me hard. Fix the problem or take your misrepresentation off the TV.

Long John Silvers - Complaint about manager
Manager told us that she barks at the Hispanic employees to let them know she needs hush puppies. She laughed about it. It was VERY OFFENSIVE TO US. my boyfriend is Hispanic and was very upset about what she said. That tells us how she treats the Hispanic people.

Ordered two #10's from the inside counter, got home...no Cole slaws! Went back, got Cole slaws, get back home, no shrimp! Called the restaurant no answer. Disappointed! (Pissed off). Pardon.

I waited in line for 15 to 20 minutes thinking my food was going to be hot, it was not it was actually called the chicken and the fish was very very greasy like it had been double fried or sat all day. I love Long John silvers but this was honestly disgusting

Disrespect

We came from Waynesboro Virginia 3/16 and the staff and managers where in the kitchen arguing and cursing each other no one waited on US for 10 minutes then employee came out dispersing everywhere one staff member approached us coughing everywhere stating how the one girl cussed her because she came in drunk and working and she told on her she then began to take a order and then she got two boxes of food to take with her home because they told her to leave and then left us standing there finally some young man came and bought us our food and then everyone left the food was not done and there were eight people in line waiting to get their order taken and no one never showed up has we left we looked in the parking lot behind the store and all the managers and people that are supposedly got fired while hanging out in the back smoking and talking to someone in a vehicle

I payed 30 bucks or more for the wrong order this fish wasnt even strained from all the grease on it then they wouldnt answer the phone so I could get the correct order and their lines was ridiculous and we where on lunch break so the entire experience just about ruins my long standing relationship

6:00 pm and restaurant is locked. I called and they said they were closed to restock food?

At 5:50 pm I went to the 73nd and Michigan road store location and everything was closed. Dinner time you are closed? I called and the employee said they just had a rush and had to close to restock? It seems as though the workers were maybe just taking a break or didnt want to serve customers. I drove here and wasted time. There are two workers in their car outside the restaurant. She said on the phone to wait 10 min??? Very frustrating for dinner time hours. There is no one else here.

My Experience at LJS

I was eating lunch in the lobby of the LJS, an employee was doing such a great job at keeping the lobby, drink section and table section clean and organized. I appreciate the great effort and attitude of this employee. I asked her for her name, she said it was Carol. I just would like to thank Carol for all her efforts! I will be returning to the restaurant because of this. Thank you!
